Karen N. Hager

Karen Hager passed away on November 22, 2025 at 69 years old. Karen loved reading and had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her dogs. Known for her kind and compassionate nature, she was probably the most unselfish person you could ever meet. If she saw someone in need, whether it was someone she knew or a complete stranger, she would step in to help. She was a surrogate mother to so many and truly loved them all.

Karen is survived by her beloved husband, James Johnson Jr; loving children, Shawn Hager (Dawn Hager), Jamie Hager (Tonya Hager), Christine Chapman (Timothy Chapman), James Johnson III (Elisa Rosado), and Nicholas Johnson; cherished grandchildren, Shawn Hager Jr, Gayle Hager, Ashley Hager, Jasmin Hager, Calio Vannarath, Jaylynn Hager, Jamie Hager Jr, TJ Chapman, Thomas Chapman, Alayah Johnson, Alena Johnson, Rebecca Johnson, Nicholas Johnson Jr, and Delayza Carter Johnson; cherished great grandson, Kiarrie Green, loving brothers Joeseph Tuminello, Mike Tuminello, and John Tuminello; and her loving sister, Theresa Auzenne.

The family requests relatives and friends visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Thursday (December 4, 2025) from 3PM - 7PM. The funeral service will begin at 6PM.
