Joseph McElroy passed away at age 86. He was the beloved husband to Jeanette McElroy.  They shared 53 years of marriage together.  He is survived by Jeanette, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who loved him dearly.  Joe had a passion for people and life.  He was well-traveled in his younger days through the Navy.  Joe always had a passion for the outdoors which included boating and gardening.  Joe's successful career in the marine industry stretched to the age of 85.  Joe's work enabled him to do what he loved most. He spent most days traveling in his truck to places near and far and building friendships through conversation along his travels.  Those who were lucky enough to know Joe, know he was full of life and love.  Joe will be mourned greatly. 

Visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie highway on Friday where a memorial gathering will be held from 2 to 4 P.M. Memorial Service 4:00 P.M.
