John G Confair, Sr.

      John G. Confair, Sr. U.S. Navy WW II Veteran, passed away on September 5, 2021 at the age of 96. 

     A devout Catholic, John was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church and later Our Lady of Perpetual Help, and was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus. He volunteered for 15 years on the John W. Brown Liberty Ship. An avid supporter of the Baltimore Colts, he was a very active member of the Colts Corral #21 and also was a big fan of the Baltimore Orioles. 

      Mr. Confair was the beloved husband of the late Emma Confair (nee Foit); devoted father of John Confair, Jr.and Joanne Chisholm and her husband Kenneth; loving grandfather of James Bruggy and wife Rachel, Kirk Confair, David Confair and wife Tina, Jaime Krasauskis and husband Karl. He was also blessed with greatgrandchildren, James and Carah Bruggy, Kiersten, Jonathon and Jase Confair, Ava Krasauskis  and Brianna Syed.

      Visitation will be on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway. Prayers at the funeral home on Friday at 12:30 pm. Mr. Confair will be laid to rest with his wife at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
