Joane Shuba Obituary

 

     On September 13, 2022, Joane Frances Shuba passed away at age 88. Mrs Shuba was born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania and move to Maryland in 1958. She was retired from North Arundel Hospital where she worked for 20 years as a Nursing assistant in the Coronary Care Unit. She enjoyed home. travel, crossword puzzles, photography and scrapbooking.

     Mrs. Shuba was the beloved wife of the late Marcel Joseph Shuba; devoted mother of Richard E. Davis Jr. and wife Diana of Summerville, S.C., Timothy Davis and wife Sandy of Pasadena, Md. and the late Christopher G. Davis; dear stepmother of the late Cindy Jo Hyer; mother in law of Michael Hyer and his wife Valerie of Woodbine, Md; loving grandmother of Amy Bowling and husband Bryan, Amanda Chappell and husband David, Jason Davis and wife Crystal, Leanna Schindling and husband Andy, Melissa Coffey and husband Mike, Timothy "T.J." Davis, Jeffrey Hyer and his wife JoAnnie, Glynn Davis and wife Kaitlyn, Nathan Hyer, George Birch and wife Meredith and Stephania Blevins and Noelle Cucina and husband Ed. She was also blessed with 10 greatgrandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Linda Nix, Richard, Larry, and the late Tom Cashen.

     Friends may visit Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Sunday 3 to 6pm. Funeral Service on Monday at 11 AM. Mrs. Shuba will be laid to rest with her husband in Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute to the Tate Cancer Center, 305 Hospital Drive, Glen Burnie, Md. 21061 or Hospice f the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, Md. 21122.

       Very Special Thanks to Wendy, David, and Staff at Morning Rainbow Assisted Living in Pasadena, Md. for their amazing and loving care provided to our dear Mother/Grandmother. Also very special thanks to Hospice Nurse Brandy for her heartfelt, gentle and loving care.
