Jennifer Warren Obituary

Jennifer Mary Warren

August 18, 1949 - July 27, 2026

Jennifer was born and raised in Hereford, England. She was educated at the Bishop's School, Tupsley and Hereford Technical College, completeing a Business/Secretorial course in 1966. She worked for the International Labour Office in Geneva. She met her first husband, Daniel, a French man in London. Between her job and husband she became fluent in French as a second language. In 1970 she took off on a new life of adventure, sailing in the Mediterranean and then crossing the Atlantic to Antigua, where she began working on sailing yachts. Jennifer met her second husband Kiwi John Bell there. She organized the first all girl crew for Antigua Race Week on Kiwi's sailboat Flying Circus. They were married in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. They then moved to Annapolis, MD where Jennifer began a sucessful career as a yacht broker. Jenny and Kiwi split up during this period but always remained friends. She then met and married her third husband Thorny Seiler, who predeceased her. Jennifer was a respected business woman on many Marine Business Boards and also volunteered for Hospice. Her late husband, Thorny, was an early Commodore of the Eastport Yacht Club. They had a black lab, Morgan, a treasured family member. In the 1980's, Jennifer sold her business in Annapolis and moved to a new home in Antigua. She opened Aunty Mays, a garden shop named after her mother. Jenny was also known as a talented chef on luxury yachts and villas ashore. Jenny was a lover of animals but focused her passion on dogs and cats. She was a foster mom to many puppies and neo-natal kittens for the rescue Dogs and Cats of Antigua, which involved many sleepless nights.

Jennifer was a friend to many across the world, stray waifs and wealthy yacht owners alike. Well known as a fantastic story teller and a feisty lady with unlimited energy. Jenny was also very proud to be a recovering alcoholic for many years. A legend in her own right, she will never be forgotten. She has left a hole in numerable hearts.

In rememberence of Jennifer and her work with Dogs and Cats of Antigua, please send donations to Dogs and Cats of Antigua.

Feel free to express your condolences on her tribute wall.
