Jasca "Jackie" Allen

On May 1, 2025 Jasca "Jackie" Allen, age 76, joined her beloved husband, Raymond Allen in heaven. Ray and Jackie were married for 43 wonderful years. Jackie was a devoted mother to her daughter, Katherine, and her grandchildren Brittney (Caleb) and Hunter. She is also survived by her sister, Judy.

Jackie was mostly a life-long resident of Maryland, between Garrett County and the surrounding Baltimore area, only leaving Maryland for a short stay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jackie is a graduate of Frostburg State University. She devoted many years of her life as a teacher at Saint Rose of Lima where she made a long and lasting positive impact on her colleagues and students, so many of whom she continued to stay in touch with throughout her life. Jackie was an enthusiastic Baltimore sports fan, loyal to the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles for decades. Jackie was also an animal lover, having many pets over the course of her life. Most recently, her dear rescue dog, Callie. Jackie was a dear friend to many, leaving a positive impression and influence on those who crossed her path.

Jackie was a faithful, Christian woman. She was kind and generous. She was always willing to help and lend a hand. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make light of situations by laughing and smiling. She will be greatly missed by so many.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to a charity related to Jackie's interests and passions such as those helping children in the foster care system or helping rescued animals: Foster Love, Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), or another local animal shelter.
