On May 31, 2022, Jane Lee Cronin passed away at age 87. Born and raised in South Baltimore, Jane was a graduate of Southern High School. When she married James Cronin, they moved to Glen Burnie where she lived the rest of her life. Jane worked for twenty years as an investigator for the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles and later, because of her love for antiques, owned a small antique shop. Some of her favorite things included ceramics and toll painting and if she was watching TV, it was almost always JTV, the jewelry channel or maybe once in a while a Western. Sweets, like Rhebs Chocolates were quite special to Mrs. Cronin, but in her eyes, nothing could beat her granddaughter Michelle's homemade fudge!
Having adopted her husband's Irish heritage, Jane and husband James traveled to Ireland and kissed the Blarney Stone, however, a true Marylander, she loved steamed crabs and family vacations in Ocean City. This of course included some evenings at the Irish Pub on the Boardwalk! More than anything Mrs. Cronin loved her family and cherished her grandchildren.
Jane Lee Cronin was the beloved wife of the late James L. Cronin Jr.; devoted mother of Suzanne Adams and husband Rich, Vicki Eierman and husband David, and the late James Cronin III; dear sister of the late Kenneth Smith; loving grandmother of Patrick Adams, Sarah Adams (& Kirby), Michelle Eierman, Matthew Eierman (& Jen), Kathleen Eierman, Justin Cronin and the late Kyle Adams. She was also blessed with great grandchildren Lily, Declan, Teddy and Raylan.
