James M. Moore, Sr.

      James Moore, Sr. passed away at home on March 11, 2025 at age 81. He was a resident of Pasadena along with his parents, William and June Moore, for 54 years. James was an avid reader and even collected his favorite newspaper articles. He also enjoyed watching the History Channel. James loved going to Ocean City with his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

      James is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Dorothy Moore. He was the devoted father of James Moore, Jr. (Jackie) of Conway, South Carolina, Denise Moore of Glen Burnie, Maryland. Donald Moore of Conway, South Carolina, and Lynn Good of Halethorpe, Maryland; loving brother of William Moore, Robert Moore, Michael Moore, Richard Moore, Stacey Moore, Kevin Moore, and the late Dennis Moore. James was also blessed with 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

      The family requests friends and relatives visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 169 Riviera Drive on Sunday (March 16, 2025) from 3PM to 5PM and 7PM to 9PM. The funeral service will be held Monday (March 17, 2025) at 11AM. The interment will take place in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
