Jackie Moran Obituary

On October 10, 2024, Marguerite Jacqueline "Jackie" Moran passed away at age 93.

After graduating high school, Mrs. Moran embarked on a career at Commercial Credit Bank that spanned several decades, and where she specialized in bank reconciliation with branches across the United States. Her dedication, professionalism, and warm personality left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike, before she retired to enjoy time with loved ones. Mrs. Moran’s love for life extended beyond her career. Every week, she could be found bowling with friends at Bowl America, where her laughter and competitive spirit filled the lanes. Twice a week, she gathered with a close-knit group of lady friends for card games, building treasured memories. More recently she played Bingo three nights a week with friends at Parkview.

Above all, Mrs. Moran was known for her friendly, welcoming nature. She had a gift for making everyone feel comfortable and valued, and she touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth. Surely, she will be deeply missed!

Jackie  was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Moran, Jr. who passed away October 29, 1970 and the devoted mother of Kim Dignan and Kim's husband Bill. She was the dear sister of Pat Hulsey & her late husband John, and the late Michael "Sonny" Gravatt, Jr. & his surviving wife Judy. She was also blessed with nieces and nephew.

A graveside service will be held Friday (October 18, 2024) in Holy Cross Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
