Harvey Whittington

     On March 4, 2024, Harvey Thomas Whittington, U.S. Air Force Veteran, passed away peacefully at home. Born December 10, 1934 in West Virginia, Harvey was stationed in Texas while in the service. He later worked at Crown Cork & Seal as an Inspector until his retirement. Mr. Whittington was the beloved husband of the late Shirley Whittington; cherished father of Peggy Dear, Charles Whittington and wife Rose and the late Larry and Franklin Whittington.  He was son of the late  Harvey C. and Beatrice Whittington, and Mary Taylor.  Harvey was also blessed with many siblings, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. 

     Mr. Whittington will be laid to rest with his wife, Shirley, in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Graveside service on Thursday, March 7th, 2pm.
