On June 5, 2025 Gil was the beloved husband of 57 years to Jane Cooper; Devoted father of Dawn Cooper Shrum  and Tammy Cooper Philbrick and the late Gil Cooper; Grandfather of Tom, Faith, Gil and Nick; also blessed with 5 Great-grandchildren; Brother of Paula Cox.
