George "Eddie" Worthen, Jr.

We are sad to announce the passing of George E. Worthen Jr. (Eddie) of Baltimore , Md. He died on Friday, February 3, 2024, at the age of 76. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland on September 16, 1947 to Maria & George E. Worthen Sr.. Eddie was a Jokester, a daredevil, a strong caring loving person of faith that loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to go fishing, to Bingo, going to the baseball games, playing games and taking long rides with his beautiful wife Peggy looking at all the wildlife. He was a very hard worker who worked his entire life at different jobs.

He was just a chip off the old block. He will be missed dearly by so many people but will forever remain in our hearts.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Gonce Funeral Service, 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Monday (February 12, 2024) from 2-4 PM with a Memorial Service at 4 PM.
