On January 29, 2021 Gaynell was called home to her husband John Bennett Sr of 62 years of marriage. She is the loving mother of Barry Bennett and his wife April, Nina Robinson and the late John Bennett Jr. Dear grandmother of Austin and Olivia Bennett. Cherished daughter of the late Roscoe Willard Pennington and Nellie Kathleen Bennett (nee Mullins). Sister of Linda Nevin, Jerry Pennington, and the late Lyle Pennington, Joyce Parker, Patricia McNally, Larry Pennington, Gary Pennington, and Terry Pennington. Gay enjoyed the simple pleasures in life drinking coffee, eating pastries and chocolates, and mostly spending time with her grandchildren who she loved.
Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Thursday from 11 am to 1 PM. Funeral Service will begin at 1 PM followed by interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
