Freda Marie Jacobs

F. Marie Jacobs (nee Dornbusch) was born in Baltimore, MD. She was baptized, confirmed and married at St. John Lutheran Church in Brooklyn, MD. She stayed at home to raise her family and maintain her home in Brooklyn Park. Later on for many years, she was a substitute teacher and helped out in the kitchen at St. John Christian Day School. She was active in various Church activities: Vacation Bible School, altar guild, women's group, funeral luncheons, and church dinners. Her husband, Elwyn Jacobs, preceded her in death after 69 years of marriage. Survivors include her daughter Brenda Jacobs and her son Mark Jacobs.

Family requests relatives and friends visit Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Thursday (5/29/2025) from 10 AM to 12 PM with a service beginning at 12 PM. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church, 226 Washburn Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21225 building maintenance fund.
