On February 11, 2026, Francis Anthony (Tony) Raimondo passed away at age 83. Tony was born on the 25th day of October, 1942, in Baltimore Maryland. He was the only son of Rose and Joseph Raymond. He honorably served in the United States Army from June 5th 1964 until June 2nd 1966. He was extremely proud of his military service. Tony was a life long Teamster. He held memberships in Local 29 and Local 355. Tony worked as commercial driver for the majority of his professional career. Most notably he worked as a Transportation Coordinator for the Motion Picture industry. He was an avid hot rodder, who, over his life, owned multiple classic cars. Tony loved attending car shows with his family and friends. He thoroughly enjoyed taking his 55 Chevy out for a “test” drive. This past year, after he moved back to Maryland, Tony loved spending time with his family. He had a larger than life personality that made him very memorable and loved by anyone that knew him.
Tony is survived by his loving wife Lynn Raymond, sister Marie, sons Michael and Domonic, five grand kids and two great grand kids.
Tony will be interred in Maryland Veterans Cemetery with military honors at a later date.
