Florence L. Moody Powell also known as "Flo"
She was a wonderful age of 90
She lived at Glen Burnie Park View Apartments
She passed away peacefully at The Taylor residence surrounded by family by her side
On the morning of September 24 2020
She was born October 6, 1929 in Baltimore Maryland, she is preceded in death by her husband Stoney Austin Moody, son in Law Ronald Logsdon, grand daughter Belinda Sue Logsdon, daughter in law Donna Moody, son in law Steve Stack, sister Roberta. E. Chinigo, brother Tommy Powell. She is survived by her brother Kenny Hunt (Penny)niece Janie Powell, and her six children, Patricia Logsdon, Darlene Taylor(Bill), Stoney Moody (Lee), Ruby Atwell (Ernie), Geraldine Moody, Annette Buchanan (Dave). She is survived by 20 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
She worked at Connolley's Seafood Restaurant for 20 years as a world class waitress often asked for by Mayor William Donald Schaefer because she was his favorite waitress. She was awarded "Baltimore's Best" waitress. She would meet many people from all over the world and they kept in contact with her over the years. She loved to read and play Bingo. Her passion was music, she also loved to dance. She was a avid duckpin bowler for many years. She also was a actress in 2 movies, "Tin Man" and "The Diner", she starred as "Flo  the waitress" in both movies. And she worked with Danny DeVito, and Kevin Bacon, Richard Dreyfuss before they became big stars and many many more. She attended Granite Baptist Church. 
She was Spunky and very Independent putting it mildly, she was competitive and loved to socialize, she was very well liked on her job, she could speak to anyone and make them feel wanted. Flo never met a stranger, she would call everyone "Hun" she was a true Baltimorean and loved the Orioles and Ravens. She will truly be missed.
Services being held Tuesday September 29th, 2020 at 11 am at Glen Haven Memorial Park
