Eugene "Gene" Francis Tillman

     On November 24, 2024, Eugene "Gino" Tillman, U.S. Air Force Veteran, passed away at age 74. A lifelong resident of the Baltimore Area, Gene worked for 40 years as a sorter at the United States Postal Service Mail Facility on Nursery Road in Linthicum. Gene was a huge sports person who played football and baseball in both High School and while he was in the military. He also played pool with his wife in a league in East Baltimore, and bowled in a league along with his wife. He was a fan of home teams Ravens and Orioles as well. A truly big hearted person, Gene loved kids and took in many family members to live in his home. 

     Mr. Tillman was the beloved husband of 39 years to Rosemarie Tillman; devoted father of Katie A. Tillman and the late Craig S. Tillman, loving grandfather of Nicole Leigh and Emma Rose. He was blessed with sisters Joanne, and the late Peggy, Carole, Gerri, and Joyce and with numerous nieces and nephews.

     Friends may visit Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway on Sunday, December 1st, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm, and Monday December 2nd 5 to 7pm with a service at 5:30pm.

     In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the American Heart Association.
