Eleanor Lynne

       Ellie found joy in the simple pleasures and the company of those she loved. She had many hobbies, including bingo, bowling, crocheting, and puzzles. She also had a love for baking beautiful wedding cakes for family and close friends. Ellie would often spend time on the water with her husband Bob Sr. crabbing and made delicious crab soup. Sour beef and dumplings was also another family favorite meal, with her favorite dessert of pumpkin pie. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Mary Star of the Sea, and St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. She was a wonderful and loving person and will be missed by her family and friends and all who knew her. 

      On March 6th, 2026. Eleanor Lynne passed away with her family by her side. She was 92 years old. She is the beloved wife of Bob Lynne Sr. for over 60 years of marriage. Loving mother of Donna Scardina, Debbie Lynne and husband John, Terry Smith and husband Glen, Bill Lynne and wife Patti, and Bob Lynne Jr. and wife Sue. She was also blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also the dear sister of Tommy Stein, and the late Shirley Cox, Charles Stein, and Dennis Stein. Ellie loved her baby cats including "Honey" and her bird "Bird".

      The family would like express their sincere gratitude to Dinah and Eleanor's granddaughters Kim, Paige, Hayle for their dedicated and compassionate caregiving. 

      Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will take place Friday at 11 AM, followed by interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
