      On March 9th, 2024. Edwin N. Galanes passed away. He was 96 years old. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to the late Rita Y. Galanes (nee Duncan) Devoted father of Michael N. Galanes and the late Charles V. Galanes. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas Galanes and wife Ashleigh, Jennifer Galanes, Erin Galanes, Duncan Galanes, Tyler Galanes and the late Matthew Galanes. Dear great grandfather of Emalie, Isabelle, Ivey, and Nicholas Galanes, Jr., Kevin and Chanel Johnson, and Anna Lise Galanes. Edwin was also blessed with other relatives and friends.

      Family requests relatives and friends visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9PM. Funeral Service will take place Friday at 11 AM, followed by interment with Military Honors in Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
