On January 23, 2023, Edward Joseph Murray, Jr. passed away at age 78. Born in Baltimore, Edward was raised in Brooklyn Park, Maryland and married Susan Murray (nee Whitelaw) on February 19, 1966. He retired from Continental Can Company where he worked for 40 years as a machinist. Edward was an avid fan of professional wrestling and professional bowling. He also enjoyed watching westerns on TV in black and white, and shows like Rifleman, Andy Griffith and Bonanza were favorites. A true family man, he loved when the family would travel together to watch his grandkids play sports games. He also enjoyed tossing the frisbee with the family dog, Sully. Edward had the ability to make everyone laugh. If he started laughing, you just had to laugh along with him.
Mr. Murray was the beloved husband of Susan Whitelaw Murray for 56 years, and devoted father of Edward E. Murray and wife Khris, David Murray and wife Tracey. He was also blessed with grandchildren Tyler, Travis, Bradley, Allyson and Jason Murray and the late Kayla Murray, and great grandchildren CJ and Charlie. He was the dear brother of Judy Clapsaddle and Mary Frashure.
