Edith V Resuta

     On Tuesday, September 9th, Edith "Edie" Resuta of Brooklyn Park, MD passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Edie was born in King William, VA to the late Eddie "Berk" and Jannie Barlow. 

      Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Resuta; loving mother of her son Michael Walton and daughter Pamela Walton (Mark); cherished grandmother of Rachel Wacker and her husband Jimmy, Mike Walton and Sean Allen; dear great grandmother of Wyatt and Raylan Wacker. 

      Family requests relatives and friends to visit Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Monday (September 15, 2025) from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will take place Tuesday at 11 AM at Brooklyn Community United Methodist Church, 110 Townsend Avenue, followed by interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Brooklyn Community United Methodist Church in Memory of Edith Resuta.
