                Donald R. Jones Sr., 96 of Linthicum MD. Passed away at his home surrounded by loving family on Monday February 24th, 2025. Donald was born in Milford, DE to the late Frank B. and Myrtle C. (nee Walrath). Donald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great and great-great grandfather.

            Donald worked as a diesel mechanic and maintenance man for 3 different companies over his 60 years working. He enjoyed working with his hands, remodeling his and his families homes, but mostly his family, taking vacations with his wife, children and grand children.

            In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Violet C. Jones (nee Austin), son Thomas G. Jones of Linthicum, his 5 sisters (Grace, Myrtle, Agnes, Gladys & Sarah) and his 2 brothers (Floyd and Frank) all of Delaware.

            He is survived by his daughter Donna Rae Pallozzi and husband Bill of Brooklyn Park, son Donald R. Jones Jr and wife Tina of Pasadena and 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

            Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Friday from 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral service for Mr. Jones will be on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
