On January 19, 2025, Dennis Volkman passed away at age 77. Mr. Volkman dedicated 35 years to Giant Food before retiring to enjoy his many passions. An avid fan of nature, he spent countless hours watching the birds and squirrels. He also watched and cheered on the Ravens. He cherished time with family and was always present at gatherings, creating lasting memories. His curiosity for the unexplained led to a fascination of Big Foot and aliens, a topic he loved to share and explore with those around him. His warmth, humor, and unique interests will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Dennis Volkman was the beloved husband of 51 years to Rose Volkman; dear brother of Kenneth Volkman and Emory Volkman and the late Beverly Manalo; also blessed with many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. 

Family requests relatives and friends visit Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Tuesday (January 28, 2025) from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. A Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M., followed by interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park.

Flowers may be sent in Dennis Volkman's honor; or, donations may be made to Shriners, Kids Network or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
