Delores "Lois" Makarovich

      Delores “Lois” Makarovich made her way into the gates of Heaven on Monday, June 10th, 2024. Just fourteen days after her beloved husband, Gary Makarovich, made his way into Heaven. Lois was kind with a gentle spirit whom loved her family. She showered her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with a love that is almost unheard of these days. She was not shy in the least to let you know she loved you. She will be remembered for always being the last one to say “I love you” after a phone call or visit (often multiple times), standing at the door or on the porch waving goodbye until you could no longer see her, and modeling an honorable marriage in a way that can only be described as impeccable.

      Lois was proceeded in death by her husband, Gary Makarovich and her son, Michael Makarovich.  She leaves behind three daughters, Karen Washburn (husband Michael), Sheila Makarovich and Randi Makarovich (wife of his son); eight grandchildren Michael Washburn, Crystal Rose, Heather Washburn, Joshua Leeds (wife Casey), Daniel Leeds(wife Lindsey), Rachel Payne(husband Ryan), Amanda Brewer (husband John), and Michael Makarovich Jr.; and fifteen great grandchildren; Michael, Justin, Kaylynn, Zoey, Steven, Bryson, Faithlynn, Dillan, Grayson, Cheyanne, Landon, Mikaela, Dakota, Abel, Johnny, and Jase. Lois will always be remembered for the unconditional love of her family and her willingness to help anyone that needed it.

      Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will take place Saturday at 10 AM at the Gonce Funeral Service P.A., followed by interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband Gary.
