David Oliver, Sr.

David Oliver, Sr., a lifetime resident of Baltimore, Maryland entered into God's hands on December 1, 2023 at the age of 73 after a long time battle of cancer. He is preceded in death by his son Corey and survived by sons David, Jr. and Michael, one daughter Krystin, six grandchildren, brothers Tommy and Randy, several nieces and nephews as well as his longtime companion Pamela Jones. He was loved by many who considered him a Dad, Pop and Pop Pop. 

David was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired truck driver. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed videotaping family events and was fondly named David "Spielberg" by his loved ones. He loved music as well as YouTube. He played the accordion, keyboard, and recently picked up the guitar. Dave always had a smile on his face and had a heart of gold. He will be greatly missed by all who crossed paths with him. 

Family will welcome friends and family at Gonce Funeral Service in Brooklyn, MD on Wednesday (December 6, 2023) from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will take place Monday at 11:15 AM, followed by interment with Military Honors in Crownsville Veteran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to assist with funeral expenses. Contributions can be made directly to the funeral home.
