In Loving Memory of Cynthia Tracey (Copeland) August 7, 1962 – June 16, 2025
With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Cynthia Tracey (Copeland), of Glen Burnie, Maryland, on June 16, 2025. She was 62 years old. Cynthia was born on August 7, 1962, at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, to the late Dean and Mary Jean Copeland. She built a beautiful life rooted in family, faith, and friendship—a life full of warmth, joy, and a strength that carried others through their hardest days.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Lenard “Boh” Tracey Jr., and her beloved children: Amanda Irwin (Chad), Tyler Duncan (Melissa), Matthew Tracey, and Kevin Duncan Jr. Her love and pride extended to her cherished grandchildren: Lily Anne Duncan, Chad Michael Irwin Jr. (CJ), Harrison Dean Irwin, and Maverick Thomas Duncan, who brought her endless joy.
Cynthia also leaves behind her loving siblings: JoJean Stern (Mike), Kevin Copeland (Rhonda†), Steve Copeland† (Nancy), and Phil Copeland (Mary Ann), along with a large and loving extended family of nieces, nephews, and in-laws—each one touched by her generous heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law Estaloe Tracey, her treasured brother Steve Copeland, and dear sister-in-law Rhonda Copeland.
Cynthia found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with her family, sharing laughs with friends, decorating her home with care, visiting Ocean City, and enjoying a margarita with loved ones. Her beloved dogs, Buttercup and Sweetie, were never far from her side and gave her companionship and comfort. Her presence lit up every room.
Cynthia’s beautiful smile, contagious laughter, and heartfelt conversations left a lasting imprint on all who met her. She was the heart of her family, the center of countless memories, and a true example of unconditional love.
Cynthia Tracey will be missed beyond measure, but her spirit lives on in the love she gave, the joy she brought, and the lives she so deeply touched. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Cynthia’s life at Gonce Funeral Home, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, Maryland. A viewing will be held on Monday, June 23rd, from 3–5 PM and 7–9 PM.
