Cherry Louise (Fogel) Hinton
May 8, 1948 - December 8, 2025
Cherry Hinton passed away peacefully December 8, 2025 surrounded by 3 of her grandchildren in Pennsylvania and was cared for by Tranquil Lily Funeral Service. Cherry was greeted with open arms, lots of hugs and kisses from her parents, grandparents, brother, stepson and of course a song from the love of her life Bill Hinton with lots and lots of overdue hugs, kisses, and love from him.
Cherry married the love of her life William "Bill" Hinton Jr. on August 21,1965; the love they shared was amazing. They lived together in Pasadena, Maryland until Bill Hinton built a home for them in Artemas, Pennsylvania, where they lived for the past 20 years. They were together until the day Bill died December 18, 2004. Cherry enjoyed her "Shoot em' up bang bang" movies (the western's), playing cards, and bingo on occasion.
Cherry was preceded in death by her mother Florence Brandt, her stepfather Fredrick Brandt, her brother Gary Fender, her stepson Wayne Lower and the love of her life William "Bill" Hinton Jr. Cherry is survived by her daughter Valerie Todd (Mark), Stepson Billy Hinton (Delores), Stepson Phillip Lower (Laura), Grandchildren Jennifer Eberhardt (Erik), Jessica Tewey (Mike), Jerrica Conklin (Justin), Heather Seidle (Ben), Michael Reynolds (Amanda), and M.J. (Todd), 7 Great Grandsons and 3 Great Granddaughters, her brother Tommy Carter, and several nieces and nephews.
