Charles George Hall Sr.

September 19, 1942 - August 23, 2024

      On August 23, 2024. Charles G. Hall Sr. peacefully passed away. For 55 years he was the beloved husband of Karen M. Hall (Nee McHale), Cherished father of Charles G. Hall Jr. and wife Carolyn and their children Allyson Mae, Jacob Alexander, and Lily Marie Hall; Son Timothy John Hall and wife Lisa, and their children Annette Zeits, and Timothy Jr.; Great grandchildren Timothy Hall III, Lucas Hall, Madison Hall, and Jacklyn Zeits. 

      Charles was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He was raised on a farm in Latrobe Pennsylvania by George and Jean McFarland. After graduation from high school Charles enlisted in the US Navy. He was a Sonar Operator on the US Perry where he reached the rank of Warrant Officer. After his discharge from the Navy, Charles became a Police officer with the Baltimore City Police Department where he served in the Northwest District for 25 years. In Baltimore Charles met his wife Karen. They were married October 29th, 1968.

      Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being with his family. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved hearing funny stories and jokes. 

      Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 169 Riviera Dr. Pasadena MD on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will take place Tuesday at 11 AM. Mr. Hall will be laid to rest at a later date in Crownsville Veteran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, Severna Park MD.
