Cecelia Agnes Fabula
Cecelia Agnes Fabula (nee Lowery) born on February 3, 1933 resident of Brooklyn Park, Maryland passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019 after an illness of Lung Cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband Carroll Fabula and daughter, Janet Perrone. Survivors are her son Robert Perrone, daughters Cecelia Perrone and Valerie Fabula-Schauber. Cecelia’s grandchildren: Janet Perrone, Scott Brental, Robert Marsch, Christina Zepp, Valerie Schauber-Torres and Kenneth Schauber, and twelve (12) great-grandchildren. Loving sister to: Eileen Clark (John), Mary Ryder (widow), Michelle Wellman (widow) and the late Sonny Lowery and Edward Lowery. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Cecelia was a very active advocate for many years in Anne Arundel County. Cecelia worked for Anne Arundel County and the State of Maryland in various capacities. She served under various politicians as an Executive Assistant to County Executives Joseph Alton and Janet Owens. She also served with Governor Martin O’Malley and was well known by many Senators and Delegates in Annapolis. Cecelia was vice president for the AFL-CIO Unions for many years prior to her retirement. She was an instrumental person in advocating for the Pascal Senior Center and the Brooklyn Park Senior Center. Cecelia was a very active member within her community and received the “Twin Award” for her community service.
Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned GONCE FUNERAL SERVICE P. A. 4001 Ritchie Hwy. on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
