Born in Baltimore on October 18, 1922, Gin was the daughter of the late Leonard Skinner and Alice Shugh Skinner. She worked for the International Harvester Company for 19 years and then the U.S. Air Force Publication Distribution Center for 17 years, retiring in 1984. Gin loved animals and was an avid reader.
