Carroll "Ed" Wallin

Wallin, Carroll E.

      Ed was born at St. Agnes hospital to Carol and Betty Wallin. Growing up he had a great relationship with his parents and siblings. As a young man he got a job working for Spring Grove State hospital cutting grass. Having been there for 44 proud years, he worked his way up to Energy Conservation Manager. Later in life he met his love Virginia. Together they traveled in their camper to Conowingo Isle, and Fort Whaley in Berlin MD, and many other places. He enjoyed Fishing, gardening, and was a VERY big fan of "The King" Elvis Pressley. It started with a plate collection and grew over the years. He was a very hardworking, selfless, and patient person. He will be loved and missed by his wife Virginia, and his family and friends.

      On June 18, 2022. Carroll "Ed" Wallin passed away at 64 years old. He is the beloved husband of Virginia Wallin for 24 years. Dear father of Charles and Paul, and Step Father of Jason Long. Cherished brother of Emma Connelly and husband Bob, Barbara Brown and her late husband Calvin and the late David Wallin and his wife Sally. Ed was also blessed and loved by his nieces, nephews and grandchildren. 

      Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Tuesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday at 11 AM. Followed by interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
