Harvey, Carol M. 

        Carol M. Harvey was born in White Plains, NY to Pauline Isabelle Macpherson and Harold Duane Maltby on February 6th 1933 and moved to Riviera Beach, MD with her family as a young girl, graduating from Glen Burnie High School in 1950 and continuing to earn her bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins, and her Master’s from Towson State.  She touched many souls in her long and gratifying career as a teacher in Anne Arundel County MD.  Her legacy is the positive influence she imparted to so many children and adults alike, as she was a teacher at her core throughout her life.  Left to pay tribute to her memory are her daughters Elizabeth Harvey and Cynthia Corbin, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom were greatly loved and cherished by Carol, affectionately known as “GG”.  Predeceased by Carol are her mother and father, her brother Tyler Duane Maltby, her daughter Jennifer Alexander Tunney and her grandson Travis Hunter Carter.  Her lessons as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother will carry on to be retaught and learned for eternity with deepest love and gratitude.

        The family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned GONCE FUNERAL SERVICE P. A. 169 Riviera Dr. Riviera Beach/Pasadena, MD on Tuesday September 14, 2021 from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm. Services will be held between 7:00/7:30 personally by the family. Interment will be private.
