Brenden Conway Rounsevelle
April 5, 1988 - May 18, 2026
It is with profound sadness and love that we announce the unexpected passing of Brenden Conway Rounsevelle on May 18, 2026, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness and laughter.
Born on April 5, 1988, in Silver Spring, Maryland, Brenden was the beloved son of Laura Smith (Neill) and John Rounsevelle. He grew up surrounded by the warmth and love of his family, including his devoted sisters, Melissa (Roe Sagun) and Nicole, who shared countless childhood adventures and lifelong bonds. He was a proud uncle to his niece Max Whitney and nephew Declan Sagun. Brenden was the treasured grandson of Jim and Lorraine Warner and the late Mona Rounsevelle, he was blessed with a large extended family that included aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Brenden had a loving heart for many cats, dogs, hamsters, gerbils whatever came into the house over the years.
His family and friends will forever remember his infectious laughter and boundless generosity. In his professional life, Brenden found purpose and fulfillment as a cook and as a project coordinator for multiple solar energy companies. He was committed to making a positive impact on the environment and took pride in his work, knowing that he was contributing to a sustainable future.
Beyond his career, Brenden was an active member of the online gaming community. Through this passion, he forged deep and lasting friendships that spanned state and global boundaries.
Brenden was known for his quick sense of humor, always ready with a joke or a kind word to uplift those around him. His family and friends knew they could rely on him to go the extra mile in times of need, embodying a true spirit of compassion and selflessness. To be in Brenden's circle was to be loved by him. Keep Rading!
During this difficult time, the family extends their heartfelt gratitude to AA County First Responders, and Gonce Funeral home, whose kindness and compassion have been a source of comfort.
As we remember Brenden, let us celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and the love he shared so freely. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who are fortunate enough to know him.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to share a small act of kindness in Brenden's memory, just as he naturally did throughout his life; or a donation to a local animal shelter. May Brenden rest in eternal peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
The service will be on June 27th at 11 am at St Paul's Anglican Church 1505 Crownsville Rd, Crownsville, MD 21032. Reception immediately following in the fellowship hall; all are welcome. The day care center will be open and supervised should any children prefer.
