Beverly Wyper (nee Gostomski) was called to her heavenly home on April 11, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late James "Scott" Wyper; devoted mother of Jamie Wyper and Laura Wyper-Benson; devoted mother- in-law to Josh Benson; cherished sister of Linda Dages and husband John. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald "Duck" and Gloria, her brother David Gostomski, her sister Roni Spicknall and her 4 legged best friend, Bailey.
Beverly was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She worked for Diageo North America for many years until she retired. She loved her green garden and beautiful flowers. Beverly enjoyed a good thrift store find. She told her daughters a true thrift store warrior could avoid the dreaded finger stab from the staples. She loved animals. Her huge heart for homeless animals led to adopting many over the years. Midnight and Stormy being the most recent. Her daughters provided her with the most precious grand-pets.
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free.
I'm following paths God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found my peace at the close of day.
If my parting left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I've savored much.
Good friends, good times,
A loved one's touch.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wants me now; He set me free.
