Beverley J. Hill
May 19, 1938 - January 3, 2025
On January 3, 2025, Beverley (Bev) J. Hill passed away at the age of 86. Bev was a long-time resident of Baltimore and Delaware, but her favorite places were The Naval Academy in Annapolis and Ocean City, MD.
Bev graduated from Western Maryland College, now McDaniel, in 1960 and was a member of their Athletics Hall of Fame. She received her Master of Education in 1968 from the same school. Bev taught and coached at John Carroll High School in Bel Air, Maryland from its opening in September of 1964 through the late ‘80s. She was the coach of the girls' field hockey, lacrosse, and basketball teams.
Later in life, Bev changed careers and became a Physician’s Assistant. She spent much of her second career working with soldiers and their families on various military bases until her retirement in 2004. Bev was an excellent PA and proud of the work she did with her patients.
Bev loved to run and was a sports enthusiast. She was a smart, strong woman and will be missed.
Bev will be interred on Friday, January 10th at 11AM at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie, MD, next to her parents. She is survived by her nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sandra Lynne Parise Memorial Scholarship Fund at McDaniel College. This fund was started by Bev to honor her niece Sandy after her death, and was very important to Bev.
