On September 27, 2024, Ashley Amanda Spinks, 35, passed away peacefully at home with family in Odenton.
Ashley was born September 26, 1989, in Baltimore, MD and died just after her 35th birthday. She graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 2008 and continued to further her education and later received her associate's degree in medical billing and coding from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022.
Ashley lived with her immediate family for several years. She then moved in with her grandparents in Severn, MD for a couple of years, then went on to move in with her fiancé in Martinsburg, WV.
Ashley held many jobs during her life. She worked for Bath and Body Works as a manager, Baltimore Washington Medical Center as an EVS tech, Rich Morton Lincoln Mazda as a secretary, Browns Toyota as a customer service agent and finally as a customer call center representative for Walgreens Express Scripts from home.
Ashley loved to talk, loved taking care of people, loved to shop especially for the deals or findings that special item in the clearance racks. Ashley loved eating out and most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially the babies and kids. She always made sure people were given a gift and a heartfelt card for Christmas and birthdays.
Ashley is survived by Steven Booth her fiancé, her parents Kimberly and Gary Spinks, her sister Rebecca Spinks and brother-in-law RJ Quinlan, her brother Tyler Spinks, her grandfather Alfred Milton Litz, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
Ashley is preceded in death by her sister Brittany Spinks, her grandparents Diana Litz and David Brewster, her grandparents Katherine Spinks and James Spinks, Sr., her great grandparents Frank and Dorothy Stratton, James Brewster, Sr. and Dora Brewster, Alfred Litz, Sr. and Mary Litz, and many other family members.
Family requests relatives and friends visit Gonce Funeral Service, 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Saturday (10/5/24) and Sunday (10/6/24) from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held Monday (10/7/24) at 11:00 AM, with Timothy Young of Brooklyn Bible Chapel officiating the service. Burial will follow the funeral in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie, MD. A celebration of life will be held afterwards at the Brooklyn Bible Chapel Hall in Brooklyn Park, MD.
