Arthur Walter Montz

On May 27, 2025, Arthur "Art" Walter Montz passed away at age 71. He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Kim Montz; devoted father of Christina Stearns and Darrell Montz; blessed with numerous grandchildren; dear brother of Gary and Andy Montz and Wendy Shaffer, Rebecca Hecht, Shelly Hattabaugh and the late Sharon Stewart. 

Family requests relatives and friends to visit Gonce Funeral Service, P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Friday (June 6, 2025) from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held Saturday (June 7, 2025) at 11 AM. Mr. Montz will be laid to rest with military honors in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville on Thursday (June 12, 2025) at 2:30 PM.
