Susan Nadine Haislip, 89 of Glen Burnie, MD passed away on October 10, 2017. Susan was born on November 28, 1927 in West Virginia to the late Jesse Warren and Mary Ellen Shifflett. She graduated from Glen Burnie High School and retired from the Maryland State Board of Education in administration.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Jesse Warren Shifflett, Jr. and Donald Shifflett and sister Mary Imogene Minnix
Susan is survived by one brother, Jim Shifflett of West Virginia, her three sons, John and wife Alethea, Richard and wife Mary and Kenneth and wife Dina, her grandchildren, Alyssa, Johnny, III, Richard, Jr, Jennifer, Lauren, Kenneth, Jr, Jesse and Lacy and great grandchildren, Gavin and Grayson. Nadine is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Gonce Funeral Services, 4001 Ritchie Highway, Baltimore, MD 21225, Sunday, October 15th 3–5, and 7-9. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 16th at 12:00 at Marley United Methodist Church, 30 Marley Neck Rd, Glen Burnie, MD 21060. Interment Glen Haven, Glen Burnie.
