      On January 9, 2019. Pete went home to be with his loving wife Rita A. Eckhardt. He is the beloved father of Denise Gerber and husband Tom, Michael Eckhardt, Donna Seward and late husband Melvin, Regina Eckhardt, Chrissy Lesniowski and husband Adam; Cherished grandfather of Tom and his wife Jen, Tina and her husband TJ, Matthew, Emily Casey, David, Edgar, Jim and his wife Allison, Joseph and companion Jen, and Owen. Dear great grandfather of Kristen, Nicholas, Kaylee, Caden, Wyatt, Jill, Kayden, Savannah, Harleigh, Winnie, and Hank. 

      Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Service on Friday at 11:30 AM. Followed by interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
