For the past year or two I have been meaning to write to the family to see how Ms. Lennis was doing. I even called the last place I knew she was living, but they had no information for me. I only found her now as I was viewing Michael Gabel's obituary and started looking for other neighbors. I am sorry for your Mom's passing. So many memories of her especially our last visit. We talked about birds of course, and she told me of her concern about the postal service; my concern as well. Well, if anyone ever sees this, my sympathy and hello to all the Vogelsangs.

For over 76 years, Lennis has been my favorite Aunt. I remember as a child riding my bicycle from Brooklyn Park to visit with Aunt Lennis and Uncle Rob and she would always call my mother and tell her where I was and Uncle Rob would drive me home after dinner with my bicycle in his trunk. She was a soft spoken, gentle woman and I will miss her very much. My heart goes out to the entire Vogelsang clan. You have lost a treasure.
