Julia Price Obituary

JULIA L. PRICE

Julia L. Price (Campitelli), a 65 year Brooklyn Park resident, died of cancer January 16 at Harbor Hospital Center.  She was 88 years young.

Born in Maryland, Mrs. Price owned and operated Price’s Seafood with her husband Charles F. Price and their son Charles (Hummer) Price for over 50 years.  Julia loved being with her family and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and reading.  The love of her life was truly her family. After retiring, Julia could be found at her home working on her vegetable garden; cutting her coupons out of the paper and putting together her shopping list for the week; and reading the newspaper and doing the crossword puzzle.  Of course, the “Raven’s Report Card” was a must read every Monday giving us the full report after! Jeopardyand Wheel of Fortune was also a must every evening.  She was pretty good!  She also enjoyed cooking for her “bunch” makingsure everyone had leftovers for dinner for the following day. On the weekends Julia would most likely be hosting a family get together at her residence.  Whether it just be socializing with the family or cooking on the grill or just watching a movie.  She loved the presence of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was the beloved wife of the late Charles F. Price; dear sister of the late Phil and Gordon Campitelli and Mary Campitelli-Gue; devoted mother of her late son Charles (Hummer) Price; and is survived by three daughters, Linda Zelubowski and her husband Brian Zelubowski, Cathy Moon and her husband Bobby Moon, Ann Gunning-Superson and her husband John Superson; loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren, Kristie and Rich Barnes, Holly and Shawn Jones, Brandi and Billy Whitecotton, Sheena and Ryan Romosko, Keith and Julia Price, Rebecca and Corey Landon, and Marissa and Melanie Gunning. She had 6 great-grandchildren, Mason and Madison Jones, Briella Barnes, Jackson Whitecotton, and Kai and Gunner Romosko. She was also a lifelong friend and sister-in-law of Catherine Claytor.  She is also survived by many nieces andnephews.

Julia will be greatly missed by her children and their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, friends and neighbors.
