On June 8, 2017 James Garland Edwards Jr. passed away at age 70. A lifetime resident of Anne Arundel County, James was well known as owner operator of his General Contracting business, Sunshine Homes, which he held for 30 years. He was an avid golfer, and loyal Baltimore Sports fan, from the Colts to the Ravens and the Orioles.
James was the devoted father of Kelli and Lance Edwards; beloved son of the late Kathleen and James Edwards Sr.; dear brother of Sandra Ulibarri, Sherry Conway and the late Gary Edwards. He was also blessed with grandchildren Mason Edwards, Pela Saunders, and Bianca Edwards and loving companion Susan Elza.
Friends may visit Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Sunday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service in First Baptist Church of Lansdowne, 2320 Alma Road on Monday at 11am followed by interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park. Please feel free to leave your condolences on this website.
