On Monday, November 27 2017 at age 93 James Ellsworth Smith Sr. of Laurel, Md. passed away. Beloved husband of the late Anna M. Smith. Loving father of Patricia A. O'Neill and her husband Larry, James E. Smith Jr. and his wife Gerry, Douglas Smith, Glen Smith and his wife Karen. Grandfather of Brian, Douglas, Michael, Danny, Lawrence, Melissa, Zachery and Lauren. Also many great grandchildren.
James worked 41 years for Westvaco Box Printing Company. In his younger days he enjoyed going to the horse races at Laurel Park. Jim went to the Annapolis Moose for music, dancing, and Karaoke. He enjoyed playing cards with family and especially enjoyed celebrating Christmas Eve every year with family.
