   On October 13, 2017 James Jeffery Davis passed away at age 34 as result of a tragic car accident in California. James had travelled to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams of acting and performing stand up comedy. He had a bit of an artistic streak as well, but he is mostly known by his family as a loving person and an amazing father to his two girls. James was the loving father of Claire and Stormy Davis; beloved son of Denise Pope and her husband Kevin, James Davis and his wife Tracy; cherished grandson of Robert Thorpe Sr. and the late Vivian Bowman, Ed Harman and the late Gloria Harman; dear brother of Michelle Adache, R.J. Davis, Qadeer Popal, Brock Davis, Stephen Pope, John Davis, and Kevin Pope Jr. He was also blessed with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members.

    The family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned GONCE FUNERAL SERVICE, P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM  Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM.  The interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
