Hornick, Irene "Renie"
On February 28, 2019 "Renie" age 91, passed away peacefully. She was born and grew up in Elkins West Virginia. Irene was the last of 2 brother and 7 sisters. Renie was a devoted Aunt of Tony Romano, Nick Romano, Theresa Belba, Charles Romano, the late Fred Romano, Chee Cox, Cathy Barch, Ollie Hornick, and many grand nieces and nephews.  She was an “adopted” family member of the Austin family; Chris, Tammy and Hannah.  
Renie was an independent, spirited lady who was a friend to all, involved in Girl Scouts, many charities and was a supporter of the Arts in Baltimore. She enjoyed the BSO, Center Stage, Everyman Theatre, The Hippodrome and the Orioles and Ravens.

Visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Thursday where a memorial gathering will be held from 7 to 9 P.M. Memorial Service 7:30 P.M.
