On February 15, 2019 "Joe" Beloved husband of the late Angela DiFrancesca (nee Gentile ); Devoted father of Sal DiFrancesca and Joe DiFrancesca; Brother of Santo DiFrancesca , Rosario DiFrancesca and Angelo DiFrancesca.
Giuseppe DiFrancesca,husband to Angela Difrancesca, father of Sal and Joseph DiFrancesca.He was born in a small mountain town in Sicily, called Gratteri. There he grew up with his family, worked on a farm, and learned to raise animals.In 1961, he and his family went on a journey to the United States, to achieve the American dream.He worked and lived with his family in Brooklyn, New York. In 1965 he traveled back to his home country of Sicily, and meet Angela Gentile, whom he courted and married within that same year.His first son ,Sal was born in 1966, and his American dream was off and running.He worked hard, so his wife Angela could stay home and care for their child. In 1969 the young couple had their second son Joseph. After work hard and saving ,Giuseppe, bought his first home, in 1970. Achieving the dream.He at the time was working for contractors at the NSA.Aside from working and raising a family, he absolutely loved gardening. He knew how to properly sow and reep his gardens and flourished at it.On a particular summer evening he was invited by one of his brothers to go a Christian church service, their his heart was touched and he gave his life and heart to the LORD.He has lived his entire life a devout Christian. He played music with the church group and really had joy and pride in doing so.He loved to sing and play musical instruments. He could play guitar, mandolin, accordion, harmonica.He would proudly sing church songs,.He volunteered much of his time to the church.Helping people in need, with his generosity. And he lived like this his entire life.He will be missed.
