      On August 4, 2018. George moon was the beloved husband of the late  Dorothy Marie Moon; Cherished father of Sandy Rose and her husband Wayne, Kathy Bates, and the late George Jr., Loving grandfather of Michael Rose, George Moon III, Jimmy and Derek Bates.

      George proudly served his country in the United States Army, and fought in the Korean War. He is a 42 year retiree of Locke Insulators.  George was an amazing husband, father and grandfather and will be surely missed. The family gratefully acknowledges his siblings Jane Phillips, Bob Moon and Gene Moon for their constant devotion and loyalty during the past 12 years.

      Family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 4001 Ritchie Highway on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Service on Wednesday at 12:30 PM. Followed by interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers and Georges love for animals, donations can be made to the Baltimore Humane Society at 1601 Nicodemus Rd. Reisterstown, MD 21136.
