   On January 4, 2018 Frank Kearney Jr. passed away at age 63. He was the beloved husband of Tamah Kearney; devoted father of Shane Kearney and his wife Kristin, Amanda McCrosky and her fiancé Zach Thiem, Chanessa Znamirowski and her husband Jerry, and the late Shannon Kearney; dear brother of Lois Benson. He was also blessed with loving granddaughters Emersyn Kearney and Violet Znamirowski.

 Frank was a charismatic man with a contagious smile. He liked to joke around with people and never had a problem making a new friend wherever he went.  If there was a baby around he would be the first one to want to hold it. Frank earned his bachelors degree in Engineering from CIT. He had a great love for the outdoors and animals as he formerly ran Red Gate Farm.  He loved to drive a tractor and cutting grass, often volunteering to cut grass for the churches he attended.  He loved yearly trips to Maine with his wife.  This past summer he was able to fulfill a dream of making it to the top of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire.  Frank enjoyed watching old movies especially with his dog Muggy next to him.  Frank was a carpenter and woodworker who loved to make special projects for his family; Such as a stage for Emersyn and a dress-up station for Violet.  Frank had a deep passion for cars and especially Jeeps; he loved to fix them up and sell them.  He and Tammy loved to attend auctions together where they would find unique items to collect and refinish. Frank was also a proud lifetime member of the NRA. 

Frank opened his heart and home to many taking on the role of caregiver to his mother and mother-in-law in their last years of life.  Frank loved his wife Tammy, children and grandchildren most of all, they were his world as he was theirs.

   Friends may visit Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 4001 Ritchie Highway, on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8pm, with a memorial service scheduled for 7pm.
