Gavin, Dennis James

     On July 7, 2019 Dennis "Buzzy" Gavin passed away at age 53. Raised in the Pasadena area, Dennis worked for Anne Arundel County Police for 12 years as a 911 emergency operator. He was a member of Severna Park Elks, and avid Nascar fan and liked casinos. Mostly, Dennis was a doting father who enjoyed taking his sons to the Nascar racetrack, and family trips to the beach.

    Dennis was the beloved husband of 27 years to Stacey Holt Gavin; loving father of Nicholas James and Zachary Thomas Gavin; cherished son of Linda and the late Thomas Gavin; dear brother of Tommy Gavin; devoted son in law of Gloria and the late Albert Holt; brother in law of Kimberly and Kenneth Roussey, Sandy Dembeck and Jim Hohrein; uncle of Kenny, Kristopher, Jennifer and Hunter; great uncle of Ryan, Olivia and Emma.

     Friends may visit Gonce Funeral Service P.A., 169 Riviera Drive on Thursday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jane Frances Church on Friday at 10am. Interment in Meadowridge Memorial Park.
