On August 8, 2019 Charles “Inky” Wilkins passed away at the age of 79. Inky grew up in South Baltimore and was a long-time resident of Glen Burnie.  His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.  As a member of the American Legion Post #34 and the Glen Burnie Moose Lodge; he would spend most weekends hanging with friends and dancing the night away.  He was an avid Baltimore sports fan and continued to do volunteer work for the community. 

He is survived by his son Charles R Wilkins Jr, his wife Sherri Wilkins, his daughter Cindy McMonegal and his grandchildren Shawn & Carlie Wilkins, Kelly Gingher, Kevin Monlony, Kristina and Kayleigh McMonegal, three great grandchildren, his sister Helen Cain, two brothers Richard and Ronnie and his dancing companion and best friend Eleanor Rest.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Kathleen M Wilkins, parents William and Jeanette Wilkins, brothers William, Bob, Ferd and Jack.

Visit Gonce Funeral Service P. A. 4001 Ritchie Hwy. On Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Services on Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Entombment in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
